А сложного в переключении ничего нет. В RH, например, есть специальная фича по имени gnome-workspace switcher (в русском ASP 9.2 она отзывается на переключатель сеансов). Просто выбираешь, в чем тебе хочется работать и вперед.

Согласен на все 100.

Перепробовал много менеджеров, некоторые очень понравились: IceWm, XFCE + ROX, KDE тоже ничего, но окончательно остановился на wmaker'e. Это нечто. Удобно, быстро, мало места занимает, очень функционально, в общем NEXTSTEP рулез!

Хотя Afterstep например, что-то не очень...

WindowMaker рулит на все 100%!!!

Я использую только kicker от KDE вместе с wm (панель меню, там много полезного софта, проще запускать).

А нравится мне WindowMaker тем что он очень прикольный и не похож на MustDie (Windows).
